June 23, 2026 Closed Session Votes

Below are the votes from the closed session meeting of the BOPC on June 23, 2026:

Mayor Lucas and Commissioner Sicks had excused absences from the meeting.

At 11:20 a.m., following a motion by Commissioner Boswell and a second by Commissioner Romious, the Board voted to go into closed session to discuss litigation matters, personnel matters, and labor negotiations.  The vote was 3-0 in favor.  Following polling, Commissioner Romious voted Aye, Commissioner Boswell voted Aye, and Commissioner Whittaker voted Aye. 

Following a motion by Commissioner Boswell and a second by Whittaker, the Board voted to approve the minutes of the closed session meetings on May 12, 2026, and the litigation committee meeting on May 22, 2026.  The vote was 3-0 in favor.  Following polling, Commissioner Romious voted Aye, Commissioner Boswell voted Aye, and Commissioner Whittaker voted Aye. 

Following a motion by Commissioner Boswell and a second by Commissioner Whittaker, the Board voted to come out of closed session and adjourn at 12:30 p.m.  The vote was 3-0 in favor. Following polling, Commissioner Romious voted Aye, Commissioner Boswell voted Aye, and Commissioner Whittaker voted Aye.
