Officers were dispatched to 34^th and Indiana at 1:38 a.m. July 26, 2020, on a reported medical call. Upon their arrival, the victim was found obviously deceased. Witnesses reported an unknown person running from the area at approximately 11 p.m. An area canvass revealed several people heard the sounds of shots at approximately 10:45 p.m., however no one reported them to police. Anyone with information in regard to this case are encouraged to contact the Homicide Unit of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline.
