We appreciate witnesses coming forward and providing statements. The Kansas City Missouri Police Department will continue to investigate these and other homicides until the suspects are identified, caught, and the cases are brought to the appropriate prosecutor’s offices. Occurred: 09/05/2015 at 0520 hours
Location: 1823 Highland
Officers were dispatched to the location on a reported shooting call. Upon arrival, officers
located the victim who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The victim died of his
injuries.

Danielle M Wilson B/F 01/05/1979
Discovered: 08/14/2015 at 2912 Myrtle
On August 7, 2015 officers were dispatched to the alley behind the address on a
deceased person. Upon arrival they found the victim, Danielle Wilson, deceased
from blunt force trauma.

Demitri R. Reid B/M 07/20/1996
Occurred: 08/07/2015 at 509 Hardesty
On August 7, 2015 officers were dispatched to the alley behind the address on a
shooting. Upon arrival they found the victim, Demitri Reid, deceased in the alley
suffering from a gunshot wound. Witnesses indicated that they were walking
through the alley when they observed the victim on the ground.

Cordell Bell B/M 08/11/1991
Occurred: 08/5/2015 at 14534 S. 71 Hwy
On August 5, 2015 officers were dispatched to the location on a shooting. Upon
arrival they found the victim, Cordell Bell, inside a vehicle suffering from a
gunshot wound. Witnesses indicated that the victim was sitting inside his vehicle
when the suspect walked up and shot him through the window.

Tamerick Riley B/M 11/16/1996
Occurred: 08/05/2015 at 5705 E. 96th Place
On August 5, 2015 officers were dispatched to the location on a shooting. Upon
arrival they found the victim, Tamerick Riley, inside the foyer of the apartment
building suffering from a gunshot wound. Witnesses indicated that the victim was
walking into the building when the suspect shot at him from the stairwell.

Kevin Deardorff W/M 10/31/1969
Occurred: 6/29/2015 at 2148 hours at 1867 E. 76th Terr.
Officers were dispatched to the location on an ambulance in route call. Upon
officers arrival they observed the victim lying in the grass between the street and
the sidewalk. Mr. Deardorff died at the scene from his injuries

Dominique A. Stafford B/M 05/03/1994
Occurred: 04/23/2015 at 37th and Elmwood
On April 23, 2015 officers were dispatched to the location on a person inside a
vehicle. Upon arrival they found the victim, Dominique Stafford, inside the
vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

Asaan Williams B/M 02-09-97
On 03-13-15 at 1843 hours, Officers were dispatched to 38th/
Kensington on a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, the victim was discovered lying in the park
suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was
transported to a local hospital where life-saving measures were
unsuccessful.

Arthur Stafford Jr, B/M 01-08-1993
Occurred: 03-11-2015 at 2100 hours Location: 3900 E. 31st St (Tony’s Market)
On 03-11-2015 at 2100 hours the victim and another male were shot just outside of Tony’s Market by an
unknown suspect. The victim who was the intended target died as a result of his injuries. The suspect
was last seen running northwest from the scene.
