181st EOC Graduates From Police Academy

Before family and friends recruits in the 181st Entrant Officer Class graduated from the police academy on Sept. 26 at Regional Police Academy.

These officers are now on patrol in Kansas City working with Field Training Officers (FTOs). They yearn to serve and to make a difference in people's lives. They will make Kansas City’s community stronger and safer, and the department is grateful for them.

Officer Jonathan Vigilius received the Director’s Award which is given to the class member who best demonstrated academic achievement, physical training, performance, teamwork, enthusiasm, and leadership. Several members of the class are also veterans of the armed forces.
