Baton Rouge shooting investigation

All questions involving the investigation into the shooting of police in Baton Rouge, La. – including any activity in Kansas City – should be directed to the FBI.

While Kansas City Police were assisting the FBI last night, July 17, a man was arrested for a city warrant at 1166 E. 77th Terr. Kamerran Fryer was arrested on a minor city warrant for a seat belt violation and was given a signature bond. KCPD is unable to confirm any relationship to the FBI’s investigation in Baton Rouge. Again, please contact the FBI for further information on that investigation.
