Brave Officers Receive Awards For Valor

Before hundreds of law enforcement officers from agencies across the Kansas City metro area, KCPD officers received Awards For Valor from the Metropolitan Chiefs and Sheriffs Association on Thursday, Nov. 16.

The ceremony honoring officers was the 52nd annual event and took place at the Argosy Casino.

KCPD Officers who received recognition included:

Life-Saving Award

Officers Bobby Coney and David Lantz
Sergeant Andrew Gore
Detective Nathaniel Hurley
Detective Nathan Kinate and Intelligence Analyst Darin Lee

Officer James Muhlbauer and K-9 Champ
