Chief's blog highlights KCPD's use of social service workers

The U.S. president's executive order for police enforcement reform asks police departments to respond with social workers to many types of incidents. KCPD has done this for years with our CIT Squad and mental health co-responders. KCPD also was the first police department in the U.S. to have social workers on staff.
