Detectives from the Metro Property Crimes Section have recovered an additional $250,000 (estimated) worth of stolen goods connected to storage unit thefts.

On April 18, law enforcement agencies from the Kansas City metro area visited Metro Patrol Division to determine if the goods collected were related to any of their cases.

Last week, KCPD announced it uncovered a plot where the suspect would break into storage units, steal property, and install “fake” locks back on the unit to hide the crime.
