Fall 2024 Citizens Police Academy Class Graduates

A group of Kansas City residents, who spent 11 Tuesdays learning about the different departments within the KCPD, graduated from the Citizens Police Academy on Nov. 12.
Members of the class went on ride-alongs with Kansas City police officers, visited the crime lab, met with the K-9 Unit, KCPD’s social services team, and other specialized units.
The Spring 2025 class begins on March 4. Admission to the program is open to anyone 18 or older who has a good standing in the community and is a resident of or works in the City of Kansas City, Mo. Each applicant must pass a thorough background investigation.
