KCPD Social Services Teams Gives Away Hundreds Of Coats

Serving hundreds of area residents, the Kansas City Missouri Police Department handed out roughly 300 coats of all sizes the evening of Dec. 7.

The line formed an hour before the 5 p.m. event at South Patrol Division. Parents and children both attended, picking out coats, while also receiving hats, food, shoes, and household items.

KCPD’s social services teams worked for months to collect donations in order to serve the community in this manner. They handed out every coat on hand.
