Largest KCPD Entrant Officer Class Since 2007 Graduates

The Kansas City Missouri Police Department proudly celebrated the graduation of the 184th Entrant Officer Class on August 14, 2025, marking a historic milestone for the department. The Regional Police Academy auditorium was filled to capacity, as family, friends, and supporters gathered to honor the hard work and dedication of the newest members of the department.

This graduating class is the largest to complete the KCPD Academy since 2007, a reflection of the department’s ongoing efforts to recruit and prepare top-quality officers to serve the Kansas City community.

Throughout their intensive training, these officers demonstrated commitment, resilience, and a passion for public service. Surrounded by a standing-room-only audience, they took the oath to protect and serve, officially joining the ranks of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department.

The addition of these officers strengthens the department’s ability to respond to the needs of the community and continue building trust and partnerships across the city, which is much needed.

The department is proud of the 184th Entrant Officer Class and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make throughout Kansas City.
