Officers Cheer On, Send Off ‘Snowball Express’

Giving high-fives and cheers, officers and employees sent off families traveling aboard the “Snowball Express” from Kansas City International Airport on Saturday, Dec. 2.

The families consisted of the surviving spouses and children of fallen service members traveling to Disney World courtesy of the Gary Sinise Foundation. The foundation treats families to a one-of-a-kind trip while showing appreciation for continuing to bear the ultimate meaning of sacrifice.

The trip also allows families to bond with others they can lean on for support.
