Sixteen Officers Recognized at Awards For Valor Ceremony

Sixteen KCPD officers received recognition for their heroic acts at the 53rd annual Metropolitan Chiefs and Sheriffs Association Awards for Valor Ceremony on Nov. 14 at the Argosy Casino in Riverside, Mo.
KCPD Officers saved the lives of strangers. Some arrested a homicide suspect while taking on gunfire. Others rescued fellow officers who were shot and wounded serving a search warrant involving a drug cartel.
