We appreciate witnesses coming forward and providing statements. The Kansas City Missouri Police Department will continue to investigate these and other homicides until the suspects are identified, caught, and the cases are brought to the appropriate prosecutor’s offices. Jennifer Jones W/F 07/14/1980
Occurred: 01/30/13 @ Emanuel Cleaver II and Elmwood
Victim was driving west on Emanuel Cleaver when a road rage incident
began between her and the suspect vehicle. As her vehicle passed the
suspect vehicle, two shots were fired at the victim, killing her.
Suspect vehicle has been described as a 1995-1999 Maroon Ford
Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer and was driven by a black female.

Cathy Henderson B/F 9/3/68
On January 10th at approximately 10:15pm, officers were dispatched to 2433 Brighton in regard to a
shooting. Upon arrival officers found Cathy Henderson on the ground in front of the address suffering
from gunshot wounds. Cathy died from her injuries at the scene.
Witnesses said that Cathy and a friend were sitting in a vehicle that was parked in front of 2433 Brighton
when they were shot by suspects who drove by their location in an unknown type vehicle.

Marvel Johnson B/M 04/16/1992
Discovered: 12-30-2012, at 2238 hours
Officers were dispatched to 1300 East 81st Street on a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, a shooting victim was located on the front porch of the
residence. He was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Shannon Milligan B/M 1-6-78
Occurred: 12/23/12, 2307 E. 41st
Officers were dispatched to the address on a shooting. Upon arrival they found the victim lying
on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital
where he died from his injuries.

Carl A. Jones B/M 06/28/61
Occurred: 12/14/12, 3310 Moulton
The Kansas City Missouri Fire Department responded to a residence fire at the listed location.
Upon putting out the fire, they found the victim deceased inside the home.
The Jackson County Medical Examiner ruled the victim’s death a murder.

Michael Simpson B/M 01-15-1980
Discovered: 11-04-2012 at 0750 hours at 3032 Flora
On 11-03-2012 at approximately 2000 hours, gunshots were heard coming from the
area of 3029 Paseo. On 11-04-2012 at 0750 hours, the victim was discovered deceased
behind 3032 Flora. The victim had been shot to death.

Occurred on 10-30-2012 @ 2014 hours under the I-35 Bridge 20th street.
Officers were dispatched on a reported shooting and upon arrival discovered the victim deceased
from apparent gunshot wound(s). Residents in the area reported hearing sounds of shots prior to
officers finding the victim.

Officers were dispatched to the address on a shooting. Upon arrival they found the victim deceased
on the sidewalk. No known motive has been developed.

Occurred: 10/17/12, 2009 Park Tower Dr.
Officers were dispatched to the address on a shooting. Upon arrival they found the victim deceased
inside his residence. No known motive has been developed.

Randy A. Anderson W/M 10-22-1967
Officers responded to 11076 Greenwood Drive in regard to a dead body. Upon arrival, the
victim was located inside the residence deceased. It was later determined the victim died from
a gunshot wound.
