Thanks to funding from
partnered with Operation
the Police Foundation of Central Patrol Division
Kansas City, every patrol Breakthrough on a toilet
officer was issued a paper drive. Operation
ballistic helmet. Breakthrough provides
a safe and loving
environment for kids in
February poverty.

Officers served as coaches
at Badges and Baseball,
a baseball camp coached
by police officers designed
to bridge the gap between
young men and law
enforcement. The event was
Feb. 24 at the MLB Urban
Youth Academy.

July September

South Patrol brought KCPD sponsored the 13th
together more than 25 annual and final Broadway
employers and service Bridge Run Half Marathon
providers at a hiring fair and 10K to benefit Special
exclusively for ex-offenders Olympics Missouri on
on July 18. Sept. 23.

After 10 years of service,
narcotic detection canine
Wendy celebrated her
retirement with a special
cake. Wendy worked in
the Interdiction Section.
